About
Ket Ralus is both my artist name and the name of the character I use as my avatar/persona. My previous artist name was Kinmotsu7.
The Artist
I’m interested in a variety of unique characters, but I tend to focus on particular traits: Short, “toon”-styled, anthropomorphic characters with human male anatomy influences… also, cute proportions, simple features, and a hint of masculinity. I’m a fan of reptiles, aliens, imps, and other related types. Designs based on turtles win me over, even though I ironically prefer a lack of shell.
Nothing beats a good set of cock and balls, but I do have a fetish for feet of particular styles. Otherwise, I’m not big on fetishes, though there are some mild ones (e.g. light bondage, water sports) that I enjoy yet usually overlook.
I’m open to criticism and I actually encourage it. I’m not going to get any better if I don’t know my shortcomings. Of course, positive feedback is always welcome as well. It makes me happy when you leave me a glowing comment!

The Person
I’m 26, male, and living in southern California. I have a career as a software developer, and in my free time I draw (obviously), play games, listen to VGM, watch vids, socialize IRL, and do other wonderful things. That said, I often take long breaks from drawing to keep up on everything else. Variety is the spice of life.
I’m technically bisexual, but I relate to men more easily, and I’m way more attracted to male anatomy. Historically speaking, I’m simply “gay”, and that’s what I call myself anyway. I’m currently single (no “mate”). Relationships are a complex subject for me, and I’m still trying to figure things out.
I don’t consider myself part of the furry fandom, though my interests do overlap with it. Rightly so, most of the characters I’m interested in are fur-less. I like animals to a degree, but I don’t identify with them. I’m more comfortable with human mannerisms and personality.
The number one reason I draw is for sexual gratification. I’m attracted to these characters far more than any living creature. I also like to draw in order to explore my creative side and build my skill as an artist, but if it weren’t for the porn, I wouldn’t have the motivation to do this. Nevertheless, whether you enjoy my art for the sex, humor, style, or other aspects, it’s all good to me.
I value independence. I am an introvert, but I enjoy variety and exploration. I’m often nice and friendly, but sometimes I’m an insensitive jerk. I could write pages about my personality and myself in general, but it’s best if you just learn first-hand. You’re welcome to get in touch with me and talk. I’m very open to discussing myself, and feel I am a generally honest person, so if you have any burning questions for me, I’m eager to answer them!
The Website (& The Art)
History
I began my first piece of adult art on September 1st, 2002. This site was born on November 8th, 2002, and had 15 pictures at launch. It started out on GeoCities, but got its own domain name and private hosting as of January 2006. At this time, I also started using php, just because I could (and since php is pretty sweet). However, the site design was still pretty craptacular. This changed by September 2006, as the site was redesigned from scratch, and gallery software was installed to manage all of the pictures. I began my journal on September 29th, 2007, and migrated the gallery to the WordPress journal software over the weekend of April 4th, 2008. That sums up the important stuff.

The Name
Kinmotsu7
Back in the day (year 2000, rather) while I was still in my “trying to stay straight” mode, I inherited a fascination with hentai. The CG Shrines were my playground, and I soon branched out from there. Since I was underage and didn’t want such stuff to be associated with my real name, I was forced to don a pseudonym. I decided on “Kinmotsu”, which is a Japanese word that can be translated to “forbidden” or “taboo”. Quite appropriate, as I spent a lot of effort keeping these Japanese porn hunts on the down-low. When I went to register a Yahoo! Mail account (possibly on Aug. 15th, 2001), “Kinmotsu” was taken, so I did the lazy thing and just went with Kinmotsu7.
But Kinmotsu7 lived on. By the time I was balls deep into the furry porn scene, I was still using this name. And when I started drawing my own smut, I used the same name for that as well. I thought several times about changing it (particularly due to the inclusion of a number: a common turn-off of mine), but every time I did, I thought of another reason to stick with Kinmotsu7. This seemed like it would last indefinitely, but it was not to be so…

On January 13, 2009, I announced I that I changed my artist name to that of my turtle-inspired character, Ket Ralus.
