I conjured an idea during a half-sleep state at the beginning of last week for a Koopa Troopa sitting in this particular manner. Nothing fancy. However, this frenzy of Koopa passion blew in from nowhere and set my gears in motion. I spent more time on this picture than I would have liked, but I feel it turned out the way I wanted.

I can imagine it would be hard to convey sadness when your mouth is as hard as a beak. You’d have to saddle it all on the large eyes.
