Goblin Design Cauldron

Goblin Design Cauldron

TO DO:
- Second Gimel Goblin body type (Gimel-II)
- - Possibly something closer to M:TG or WoW. Less skinny and more built than Gimel-I.
- Third Green Goblin subspecies (e.g. Aleph or Hevav)

Terms:
- SUBSPECIES ALT: Refers to differences between subspecies (e.g. Gimel vs. Dalet).
- Body Style Alt: Refers to differences between characters within a subspecies (e.g. Dalet-I vs. Dalet-II)

Style:
- About the overall style:
- - Pete Venters' green goblins from Magic: The Gathering are a huge influence on the entire species, especially Gimel.
- - For SUBSPECIES ALT I can draw inspiration from other goblin types, as well as imps, d(a)emons, and gargoyles.
- - - check reference repository
- - - e.g. Zool, Impmon, BSD Daemon, Makouchin's Ojosama no Seiyoku guy, horkka's goblins
- - Any items listed below that are rejected for Gimel-I should be converted into Body Style Alt ideas.
- - Likewise, sizes and shapes for many body features are a default Body Style Alt.
- optimal size between Ket & Brask
- - torso about one head high; legs about one and a half heads high
- - Body Style Alt: other characters in the species would vary, but how much?
- green skin
- - Body Style Alt: different shades of green for different characters is possible
- - SUBSPECIES ALT: different colors (e.g. brown)?
- horns?
- - if so, small ones that are dwarfed by the ears
- - Body Style Alt: different sizes/shapes
- - SUBSPECIES ALT: no horns, or vastly different color horns
- smooth forehead
- large ears
- - my other chars have none, so he should have some big ones
- - preferably larger than Zool's
- prominent eyebrows (hairless), nose, and chin/jaw
- - nose should be large, and possibly long and/or pointy
- - Body Style Alt: vertically shorter, and slightly upturned nose
- sharp teeth
- strong muscle tone on arms and mostly so on legs too
- nipples / navel
- belly
- - pot belly on main style
- - Body Style Alt: skinny or maybe toned
- 4 fingers (incl. thumb) and 4 toes is the norm
- - I don't want to do too many, since it will look too human.
- - However, I'm thinking about going to 5 fingers (incl. thumb) since it fits the character a bit more
- - SUBSPECIES ALT: different number? if so, probably only for different colors
- nails / claws a must
- - perhaps sharper on fingers and less sharp on toes
- short feet, decent width
- - longer than Brask's, but still short compared to human feet
- - Body Style Alt: other characters in the species can have longer/thinner feet
- no tail
- - SUBSPECIES ALT: a long tail? if so, only on one type of non-green goblin
- foreskin
- - likely long
