It feels good to draw again. Not that this is some big art revival, but it's something. This picture here (of which there are two versions) was recently drawn for a friend's birthday. I attempted to tap into a few things of interest for him, and judging from his reactions, I passed with flying colors. <3
This drawing proved to be an exercise in strong foreshortening and perspective. Thank jehova for Photoshop's lasso and transform tools. The initial sketch was a disaster compared to the final version. Yes, this is rather sketchy for a final version, but I was on a tight deadline. And to be honest, I think it still came out rather fine while conserving time due to the omission of inking. For the hardcore Ket Ralus fan, the background may look a bit familiar. The whole bed shebang was heavily influenced by <a href="http://ket-ralus.com/journal/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/nazuu-m0nster_2009_commission_ket_ralus.jpg">Nazuu-M0nster's Ket drawing</a>. I like to think of it as a prequel or something.
It was I who chose the pose. I feel it best shows the items of particular interest (i.e. ass, feet). Well, I'd actually have to say we all have similar interests. =} Glad you like it!
I'm not great at describing smells and tastes (except perhaps for food-related items), but I shall do my best. First off, Ket is somewhat reptilian, so there's bound to be a hint of that, however you sense it. Mostly though, Ket has human-like anatomy so he has a unique musk as typical of individuals. Ket has good hygiene and washes daily as possible, but also travels a lot via walking and driving, so his feet tend to build up perspiration. No strong odor though. Everything is rather mellow, as far as smell and taste goes.
As a "foot"note, Ket always wears shoes and socks anytime he's outside of a residence, so his feet stay pretty clean, although moisture builds up from sweat.
