The colors on this are fitting. I'm actually planning to use a lot of purple and dark blue in Brask's clothing designs, which I'm currently working on. Also, while Brask is technically pure jet black (just like Marvin), I often like rendering him a very dark gray since it shows more detail; an aspect that works here as well.

The action in this picture is good, and props to Vee for the insert! The character renditions are pretty cute and agreeably close to reference. This is a pairing I wanted to see again, so I thank her for drawing this! =}

I really like the use of shading here to show the roundness of Brask's shoulder. Kinda gives a weird lighting impression though.

I wasn't aware you had such a shoulder fetish, hehehe.

Not to say the following necessarily applies to this piece, but... One thing I've learned about lighting in 2D art is that what's accurate isn't necessarily better looking (and what's better looking isn't necessarily accurate). Think of it like M. C. Escher's art.

Shoulder fetish? Heh, nope, but noticed it since it was the darkest part on Brask and closest to the middle of the image. And I'll just take your word for the lighting advice. Was never too bang up on that sort of thing. ._.

Well, it's good to hear this type of feedback. Though it's more important when it's my own art. ;} Thanks!
